Una delle cose più difficili da fare in un percorso di ricovero è mantenere la motivazione. Voglio perciò suggerirvi una serie di cose da poter fare in modo da continuare sempre a camminare nella giusta direzione.

1 – Fate un CD che racchiude canzoni che lancino un messaggio positivo, un messaggio che dice che l’anoressia non worth it. 6 – Ponetevi un obiettivo a breve termine, un obiettivo piccolo, per voi stesse, che vi renda felici, e cercate di realizzarlo. Ma non drammatizzate se non ce la farete. Si tratterà solo di scegliere un altro obiettivo e di darvi un’altra possibilità.

7 – Arrabbiatevi. Chiunque abbia un DCA ha milioni di ragioni per essere arrabbiata. L’anoressia ci convince che non valiamo abbastanza e che non andiamo abbastanza bene… sono tutte bugie! Fate un disegno, un collage, scrivete una poesia che vi permetta di esprimere liberamente voi stesse.

10 – Evitate in ogni modo di piangervi addosso. Indubbio che un DCA faccia stare male, ma autocommiserarsi non aiuta affatto, anzi, al contrario…

11 – Fate una lista delle cose positive e costruttive che vi piacerebbe fare nella vostra vita.

12 – Pensate che se ci sono mille reasons for choosing anorexia, then there are a thousand and one not to choose it.

A giugno, con la partecipazione alla Traslaval ho capito che con qualche allenamento specifico riesco a difendermi anche quando la strada inizia a salire; e da questa convinzione sto apportando alcune modifiche al percorso di allenamento, vedremo se il futuro mi darà ragione. Nella pagina delusione potrei invece annotare l'esperienza in maratona a Carpi , terminata precocemente al trentesimo chilometro, ma credo e spero che il verdetto definitivo sia ancora da scrivere, sicuramente però non in questo 2011.

Progetti per il nuovo anno.
Mah, per adesso ho già individuato alcune gare a cui mi piacerebbe partecipare e che poi sono per me delle classiche:
- la Lago Maggiore Half Marathon del 6 marzo alla quale mi sono già iscritto,
- la rinnovata CorriFerrara ,
- ovviamente e immancabilmente la Traslaval sul cui sito da pochi giorni sono stati pubbicati i percorsi delle tappe ,
- escursioni sul Rocciamelone e Monviso,
