Carissime ragazze, non siete sole

This is a letter I would like to share with you. It's a thank you letter I wrote to you all.

Dear girls,

Even if you feel lost, even if the road seems to admission of a faticosità unsustainable, even if you have any problems in the fight against anorexia, even if you reduce by yet another relapse, although there called "pro-ana" / "pro-mia", even if you're worried parents, brothers, sisters, friends, girlfriends, THANK YOU to read this blog. Thanks for the comments you leave me. Thank you for your understanding that having an eating disorder is not something to be ashamed of, but a something that requires help and support, something against which we must fight, like many other hardships of life. Thank you for your try to fight, day after day.

You are not alone.

I am on the other side of the screen, and send positive energy and thoughts to anyone who needs it. And out of here, there are lots of girls, adolescents, women and men who are fighting your own battle. Anorexia makes you feel alone. There island. Away the rest of the world, all the others. Makes you feel as if there were nothing but you and the disease. But simply, this is not true. For every pair of eyes read these words, there are many others who are trying to win the same battle.

went on to head up, even if you feel the water in the throat.
treated a day at a time - is the only way to travel on the road to recovery.
Anorexia may be, for now, your reality - but you can change your reality.
YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR REALITY '.
There are people who do not know. There are people who realize it's too late. There are people who do not grasp the concept. There are people who do not.

But it is true, and it's all here. You can change your reality. The things should not go that way forever, forever is not to be anorexia.
And you can start the change today.

With love, understanding and encouragement,

Veggie

ADIDAS RUNNING TOUR 2011

Presenti, oltre ad altri blogger tra cui l'amico Lucky , i responsabili Adidas che ci hanno accolti in uno stand specially prediposto and we have delivered a racing kit for the practical test in the field of the main innovation for running shoes or the brand new F50 Adizero .
In the first part of the meeting there was a general overview on this theoretical AdiZero latest product and also about other families that Adidas offers runner and then adiStar, Supernova and Response. The conversation has been enhanced with Filippo Lo Piccolo, who has given us excellent feedback from athletes that it is his experience with Adidas on his feet. Shared by me in full the advice to always use a protective shoe and cushioning for everyday training of long travel and limit the use of super-light or sun to intermediate quality, for example, that he could run safely with the Long Boston told us instead of being more comfortable with the Glide.
Following are the participants were able to physically try the F50 or even other models more appropriate to their characteristics, practical test to which unfortunately I could not join a strong inflammation in the spine of the left foot, most likely one to extensor tenosynovitis, I still being held for five days. Later, there was the possibility of testing your Footscan to analyze the support of the foot and an indication on the shoe that suits your features.

What can I say in conclusion, the F50 as I said I did not try but I could only wear, I feel very snug fitting and the feeling is that they are in proportion to their well-cushioned nell'avanpiede category thanks to the inclusion dell'Adiprene +.
Interesting structuring of the sole where the attention at first glance is given by FORMOTION more important than the size of Boston with which I was really good. The weight settles on 255 gr. numbering 10 in the U.S. so we are about seventy grams under the weight of Boston (of which 10.5 Calzo, however, the U.S., however, are not shoes comparable). The aesthetic factor of the background to evaluate a running shoe, it's nice and innovative than in the past: the three bands that characterize the brand and are sealed to the upper inclined horizontally.
I am very curious to try them in race because I've never raced with a weight so light on your feet, I've always preferred a shoe a bit more heavy but sure also to ward off the slight pronation of my right foot.
It is not my usual advice for running shoes, each runner is different to a lot of weight support and speed of travel, but I can definitely say that Adidas has a wide range of proposals that can meet most parte degli appassionati di corsa.

Systemic Staph In Leg

Cosa si guadagna nel ricovero

Very often I have talked about what anorexia robs us, makes us lose. It makes so many promises, but ultimately disappoints because it does not give us what we thought / hoped to achieve, making us believe that our only chance.

Well, on the contrary, today I want to talk about all that is gained by choosing the path of recovery, because this is a difficult path, then you often get discouraged thinking that we will never stay on track. I know how difficult it is to maintain motivation.

I myself am still taking the road of recovery, and of course there are times when I find it very hard, and when I feel that I could fall. But I am aware that this road is the only one that can really make me earn some money.

What you gain in the house?

It gains energy.
You earn respect for ourselves.
You gain strength both from a physical point of view than from a psychological point of view, that a emotionally / emotional.
You gain hope.
You gain the ability to be able to see colors where before we saw all gray.
You earn the decision and determination to live. (A true life, not the simulacrum of life that gives us the anorexia!)
You earn gratitude. And when life is sweet, and when it is bitter. Because it is still beautiful. He earns
creativity. Without the need to shape our body for what we will never build.
You earn new experiences and happy memories.
He earns the future and the ability to make dreams and rojects.
You earn better relations with the people around us.
You gain the ability to learn to use our voice to say explicitly whether there is something wrong without fear of use cry out for that shit, we're evil. He earns
completeness.
You gain some freedom from obsessions and compulsive behaviors.
You gain the ability to smile and laugh at ourselves.
You gain flexibility.
You gain time for what we really like to do.
You gain a better health condition.
You gain relief from the vicious cycle of restriction and excessive exercise.
You gain powers of concentration and memory.
You gain the ability to express the true ourselves.
You can earn ... and the ability to get involved by accepting these.
You gain awareness that we are special for exactly what we are, and not just because we have an eating disorder. He earns
depth.
You gain life.

The shelter is a tough road uphill road. Fighting this battle is one of the hardest things that we should ever face.

But I still believe that it's worth it.

Cervix Positition A Week Before Period

ITALIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS CROSS SAN GIORGIO 2011 S / L

on the historic route of the Campacci or have taken place yesterday in the finals of the national cross country championships companies, which have seen the way the best teams in Italy. Masters, as always, the military even though club sports some excellent placement was developed by athletes representing civilian teams.
When they got there with friends Base Running we offered the trip by bus I got to taste all the previous races that my time would be played as the last test.
What about ... the girls even more impressive and men: a cross-border route when it received the short rate, and the ease with which these athletes run Velociraptor, the perception that the television pictures and can not return completely.

My race.
week of training gave me back a good feeling to race again and I came to St. George well motivated to do well even if aware that this type of racing in the final position of the athletes leave for at least the time that my rank is important and in my opinion is to run well to get useful points to the final ranking of companies.
The departure is at 14 o'clock, the CUS Torino team besides me is composed of evergreen Salvatore Calderone, Luke and Ferroglio Tagnese Andrea; unfortunately absent for fever Diego Marson.
As always, the shot gun the pace was fast from the start, the large funnel launch can run without major problems but as soon as you enter the finish straight I acknowledge some problems with traffic that will undergo for almost half of the first lap. The fund is very good on grass completely dry, thanks to a cold gray day and there was pardoned by the expected rain. The route to be addressed for five rounds is identical to that of Campaccio-tested: the area around the stadium running track will take you to the grove, where a succession of corners, hairpins and potholes makes him very nervous. After the second kilometer, I can take my past that feeling, however, is too fast so that after having completed the second lap I decided to return to at least slow down this regime. Effect was immediate and allows me to run the second part of the race in good efficiency even catching a few places.
179esima conclude in position, a result is not exciting on paper even though the average seconds per kilometer of 3'23''on the second less than 10.6 kilometers of the race makes the idea that I run on my usual pace. The sensations were good and then I conducted a regular race only minimally impaired in the early stages, but that's part of the game.

Caribbean Island With Low Humidity

Passi avanti e indietro

I think that anyone engaged in the way of shelter from anorexia necessarily going to encounter ups and downs. What we try to do, therefore, is not to feel frustrated at times when we will have some impact. Because no abyss into which rushes is so deep that they can not get up. The road

admission is a long way since the shelter is not a event but a process . Even when you choose to undertake the path of recovery, there are inevitably questions, be afraid, we wonder: this really is a journey that I will be able to cope? What will happen if it is harder than what I can imagine? What happens if I am not strong enough?

insecurity regarding our ability to succeed is a fearsome enemy. Something that helps relapse and thus brings us back to our same old hell. And then, ashamed of ourselves because we seem to have failed. And we wonder if we can ever truly smile again, laugh like when we would never imagine falling into the downward spiral of anorexia.

But, girls, let me tell you: a relapse is absolutely NOT a failure. It just means that we made a mistake and we need to adjust the aim, that's all. Even the best make mistakes sometimes.

But all, all you have every ability to get up after any relapse. And to smile again. Beyond any doubt that at this time can fill your mind. So, however we continue to pursue the path of recovery, because only then sooner or later we will find ...

HOPE.

not be afraid and do not be angry with yourself if you do sometimes backwards. Making mistakes is allowed and natural, we are human after all. We may be afraid, this is normal ... it happens to everyone, even the best. But you have all the strength to get up and keep walking. Of this I am absolutely certain. The courage you've pulled out to take the road of admission is the same courage that you use to move forward. Yes, we just get on the path of recovery, because only then sooner or later we will find ...

FORCE.

You must believe in yourself and in your potential. If you're driving along the road to recovery, you're in the right direction. The only really important thing is to walk on, without letting the moments blacks Fiacchini our will to fight. Always remember that any relapse does not mean that you are not taking the road of recovery. You will come to reach all the stages, but we need a long time. And to get there, there's only one thing to do: keep walking. Because only then sooner or later we will find ...

FREEDOM '.

HAPPINESS '.

LIFE.

Never stop believing that this is a battle you can fight.

Why 12 On The Alabama Helmet

14-20/2 7-13/2 + CROSS TRAINING WEEK OF TRAINING WEEK FOSSANO CDS 2011

Fossano Yesterday was a scheduled appointment highlight of the season with championship motocross Piedmont regional companies qualifying for the national finals next February 27 in San Giorgio su Legnano on the historic lawns of Campaccio.
All by myself without friends Jerome , subject to bureaucracy and Paulin, for physical trouble while Constance was committed to a Laigueglia GranFondo, I go to Fossano in Balocco near the factory where the lawn was been prepared on track.
forecasts a gray day and we expect a dull gray sky, but so broken at times by an alternate so that the sun manages to maintain a satisfactory temperature. During the wait and the performance of my batteries before I have time to greet the many friends who are present today, including Matthew
, with Silvia and Jean Oliver oltre a quelli che saranno miei diretti a vversari sul campo.
The first time around that widened the bulk of the platoon I find myself in pursuit of a gruppeto format, among others, Bruno Pasqualini, Diego Marson and Matt . Ours is a series of mutual exchange of positions, depending on whether more or less congenial to everyone. Mindful of the negative last year to Cameri when there classified by a single point in the finals (thanks to a destructive management of athletes from the company) the last few laps for me, only for courses of the leader board, then I try to keep the head of the group and play the position in the peloton. So I can, at the expense of his friend Bruno in concluding twenty-seventh position, which, given the parterre de roi there before, I meet do not have a good feeling felt in the race, not so much as an organic way for me and not conducive to the continuous support given by the ballet uncertain .
In any case, thanks to the placings Salvatore Calderone Diego Marson and we managed to snatch a ticket to the finals, and then conclude the season of cross in San Giorgio Legnano on the Campaccio 2.

Glad Disposable Storage Containers

Aprite bene le orecchie

Last night I was reading the notes relating to an examination which I have to give in the summer session. The professor gave us some of the material in Italian and partly in English, with which they are currently engaged in a painstaking work of translating the foreign language pages.

During the preliminary reading I gave last night, however, I read a sentence that I would like anyone who had heard at least once in his life. On the handouts, in fact, at one point it said

Mental illness is the Same as physical illenss, except for mental illness Causes psychological symptoms.

So this is what I wish more people could understand: that anorexia is a mental illness that has an effect only at a later time on the body, and anyway, even though mental illness is very real, as real is the suffering that flows from it.

is not a childish tantrum, not a lack of willpower, not a way to attract attention, not because you want to make the models or dancers, it is not because you plan to achieve an ideal of beauty or "perfection."

It 's a strong response to a condition that we have to suffer and that we can not passively accept, it is a challenge ourselves to the limit, a search for ways to feel at ease with ourselves, a plethora of as illusory as wonderful feelings that we are at a certain point, to try. Believe me. 've Been there. I'm going through.

The existence of a greater number of people who understand this certainly will not change the suffering, difficulties, and the hardness of what we face in our daily fight against anorexia, but in my opinion would make it easier to go ahead and feeling a bit 'better.

The race Trofarello race in the snow two Sundays left me with a weariness in the legs than usual, so as to have found along the entire week of workouts.

Mirena & Prolapsed Uterus

Vivere nella soluzione

Last night I watched a program on TV where a girl being treated for alcoholism, told his story and the importance of self-help and mutual support found in Alcoholics Anonymous. Although it may be quoted in full the importance of mutual aid and support between people who are facing the same problem - if you do not think so, this blog would never be born! - Was another phrase uttered by this girl that caught my attention:
"There is no cure for alcoholism," said "but there is a solution. And it is to stay sober. "

E ' really rare to find a combination of realism and hope in a vast exhibition about dependencies, but this sentence perfectly reflected my views on the road to shelter from anorexia: there is no cure , but c ' is a solution. And the solution is to continue to feed it by following the "diet" that has given me my dietitian, thus maintaining a healthy weight (and for "appropriate weight" I mean "physiological weight," leaving a moment from all talks concerning the BMI) and avoid restricting the power, and seeking help when I feel I'm having a relapse.

The other truth is that the solution to alcoholism, to an eating disorder, or any other form of addiction is not like solving a math problem. When you solve a math problem, identify the data, applying the default formula, and what comes out is the result. Response. You may have solved the problem correctly or you may have made a miscalculation that leads to the result of going bust, but in any case can proceed to the following year. Conversely, the solution to anorexia and feelings associated with it, is not something that can be found by applying a few steps or to take any specific drug.

Do not want to be a drug addict? Stop yourself pears! Do not want to be depressed? Stop being sad! Do not want to be anorexic? Stop restricting the power! Do not want to be bulimic? Stop throwing up! Do not want to have binge? Stop binge! Externals and surfaces. How many of you have heard such phrases mean? For years and years I heard people saying to me that if I had to recover from anorexia and eating simply gain weight. In a sense, could well be part of reason, because it is obvious that when I weighed XX pounds I was on a razor wire as inherent health. But people who say things like, I would like to ask a question: eat more and regain normal weight really does get better from every point of view and recover from anorexia? In my opinion, the "solution" is not eating properly reach a decent weight, the "solution" is to understand what led to anorexia and what we really need to feel better about ourselves and continue to feed ourselves even when it is the last thing we want to do. Finding the "solution" does not mean not having the desire to lose weight again, or approach tastefully a meal. Rather, it means being able to approach the meal.

I'd be mad that there was a medicine in grado di guarire dall’anoressia, ma purtroppo non esiste.

Voglio provare a dare qualche suggerimento…

1 – Chiedete informazioni sullo psicoterapeuta to people who have had to do, people you know and trust. information ask your doctor. In some of your friends who have actually psychotherapy. A person who was being treated for eating disorders from the psychotherapy. In some colleagues about the psychotherapist. Try to find out more: so you will already have an idea what kind of person with whom you are dealing with, the methods it uses, the approach that has the DCA, and so on.

2 - Pay no attention to the "corridor gossip". Opinions are opinions, not everyone sees the same things in the same psychotherapist. What some may find reassuring someone else può ritenerlo terrorizzante.

Ma ci sono anche altri momenti, soprattutto when we are in a relapse of the heavy, in which the firm and the decision must take precedence over sweetness. Follow the road to admission is a hard and dirty work, and sometimes it helps to go over a push of a caress.

4 - Find out which method of treatment the therapist uses. I'm not much familiar about it, but I know that there are many models on which you can set up a psychotherapy: cognitive-behavioral model, the constructivist, transactional one, and so on. All models are very different, and each of us often responds particularly well to one of them. So, here's your homework: wanted info on the various models of psychotherapy, please understand that there may be more useful as you are without character, and find a psychotherapist who can set the model of therapy.

5 - Ask him his opinion about the origin of an eating disorder. Whenever I found myself faced with a psychotherapist, this has always been the very first question that I addressed. It's my "screening question". If faced with the question "From what arises anorexia?" I feel that I wished the relationship with parents especially during childhood "or" modern society, providing models wrong " I run away in a hurry. One response so, in my opinion, means that the psychotherapist has no experience at all in the field of eating disorders, and I do not think it's a good idea to work a anyone who knows of anorexia than me, even from outside. Now this is just one example, of course, but I think there are some key questions to ask a therapist to figure out what stuff is done, and it may be the right person for us. I think it's important to address these questions during the first session, so that has not learned to know and, therefore, do not give the answer that we want to hear rather than what he really thinks. (Such a thing is, moreover, largely dishonest - but also a Psychotherapist is a human being ...)

6 - To be directing by competent persons. If you do not have the slightest idea where to find a counselor, ask staff to centers that specialize in eating disorders. Otherwise you risk being sent to psychotherapists, as in the leg, are not specialized in the treatment of anorexia / bulimia, and therefore may not be able to give you the specific help you need.

7 - Do hypothetical questions. No, not like, "If a butterfly's wings in Beijing sbattesse, there would be a tornado in New York?" But something like: "If my family members contact you psychotherapy to ask you this, what would you tell them? "or even" If I needed a different kind of support, what would you do? "or," If I were to get worse or have a serious relapse, how do you do? ". I think it's good to know the answer to certain questions before you go to meet the concrete fact, in order to get an idea of \u200b\u200bhow the therapist can help deal with certain difficult situations.

8 - Do not let one bad apple ruin the harvest. no denying it: the bad guys are psychotherapists. Or, at least, there are psychotherapists who adopt strategies which are incompatible with our way of being and, therefore, there are useful in the path of recovery. Well, if you are in front of a psychotherapy that is not for you, mollatela. But you must then immediately looking for a new therapist! That therapist who has done more harm than good, it was just ONE . There are MANY the world. The fact that you have found a bad apple does not mean that all the crops should be thrown away: it just means that one of the apples were rotten. You just have to throw the apple - or those apples, if more than one - and not discouraged to continue your collection.

Is there anything you found useful to do, in the search for a psychotherapist? If you like, write it in the comments here below!

Cement Blocked Drains

Serves 6

500 grams of pumpkin (I used frozen pumpkin pieces a few weeks ago)
150 g papate
a knob of butter

milk a little olive oil salt to taste

grated Parmesan cheese (optional, I do not why I put my brother does not eat cheese)

procedure

Peel, wash and halve the potatoes.
Let them boil together the pieces of pumpkin in a pot with colander inserted.

Once the vegetables will be pretty soft, remove from pot and mash with a fork.
emulsify the mixture using a blender (type blender), adding a knob of butter, a little oil, salt and milk. The latter, in doses ranging to taste the soup as it may be more creamy or more fluids, such as minestrone. As I
written in the ingredients, you can also season the soup with the Parmesan cheese at my house but you can not do! :-(
Cook over low heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally so that all the ingredients blend well and the soup reaches the right temperature (it should be served hot hot!).

Tip

As with any vegetable soup, for this gorgeous cream is eaten accompanied with simple croutons.
Do not buy those already made at the supermarket, which are the most anointed anointed you can not!
Then take good homemade bread, cut it into cubes and bake in a pan with a little olive oil until not gild for good!

TRAINING WEEK 24-30/1 + CROSS OF TROFARELLO 2011

I can not remember how long they do not compete so often, I did it yesterday with poker cross consecutive race of the Trofeo Zurletti organized by friends of Alpine Trofarello . traditions that fascinate me so do not disappoint, and three DLA blackbird fans on Sunday morning we are gathered here in Turin under a foot of snow. The situation in the city were infected fields that will be home of the event is slightly worse but still manageable. It's going to cross a hard and heavy, even if will be only six miles to go, the volcanic president of the Alpine then drive was his own, the classic obstacle of the trunk and of the bridge structure this year has added another jumper that we will face twice.
After the usual heating and Jerome Paulin to 10e45 off. Seven days as part just not strong enough to be bottled in the early stages of the race and little by little I try my race pace. The supports are not ideal and as expected the two batteries that Master GARGG have previously created a muddy track for the most part. It is not my ideal environment, not hide, legs run well but I can not push with my feet and as effectively as I would have done well to Scarborough and Pellerin.
